Easy Kit Attachments with the VersaWing Bracket
With the VersaWing 2.0 bracket system, Chariot ensures that the customizable functionality of the Corsaire 1 child carrier is always fast and uncomplicated for all users, no matter how many conversion kits are swapped in and out. Each Corsaire 1 carrier contains a set of two VersaWing 2.0 brackets, integrated along the front lower edge of its chassis. Unlike other child carriers that commonly use differing types of anchoring points for accessory mounting, all conversion kits used with the Corsaire 1 utilize one, or both of the VersaWing structures. This minimizes potential confusion when it comes to assembly. Attachments slide horizontally into brackets -- vertically in the case of stroller wheels -- and lock into place with a spring-loaded push button mechanism. As an additional safety measure, a security pin tethered near the end on the bracket slips through the bracket and the accessory to ensure a reliable hold. The top edge of the brackets can even be used to store stroller conversion kit wheels when not in use, ensuring that they are always on hand when needed.

Full-featured Chassis
In addition to the Corsaire 1's conversion kit functionality, it is also loaded with features designed for convenience, comfort, and safety. The main passenger cockpit of the carrier ships fully assembled, and folded in a flat position. It accommodates one children and the large internal space that it provides ensures continued usability as children grow. It contains a padded seat back, with children secured within the cockpit with a padded five-point harness system. Once inside, a child's comfort is ensured by large polyurethane tinted side windows and a bug-proof mesh upper seat for air flow. The carrier also has a 2-in-1, mesh/polyurethane front cover that can be rolled up, and a front sun shade for UV and sun protection on bright days. Suspension controls at the lower sides of the carrier allow for adjustments of the ride based on the weight carried.
To use the carrier, raise both upright rear tube sections of the frame, locking them into place using the auto-lock disc mechanisms integrated into the opposite edges of the frame at the left and right. To compact the chassis the process is simply reversed. The two 20" wheels snap in and out of the chassis' integrated axle with a similar push-button mechanism at the outer center of their hubs. The bicycle trailer drawbar that ships with the unit connects to the Corsaire 1 at the left VersaWing bracket, secured by a combination of a push-button mechanism and a tethered security pin. At the other end, the drawbar connects to bicycles via an included axle-mount ezHitch that is semi-permanently mounted to the bicycle axle. The ezHitch is compatible with both nut and quick-release bicycle axle configurations. A quick-release skewer is included for users who want/need one. The drawbar has an additional safety strap that connects it to the frame, ensuring a connection to the bicycle in the unlikely event of separation during use. In addition, altering the drawbar's connection to the VersaWing bracket enables the carrier to be used as a pull cart. An optional foot-operated parking brake is available for carrier use with the stroller and jogger conversion kits. Finally, the Corsaire 1 provides ample storage space in the form of a large rear cargo compartment and mesh pocket.

The fabric and hitches used are warranted for one year following the date of delivery to the original purchaser. This warranty does not include the wheels and tires. This warranty is only valid in the country in which the product was purchased. This warranty applies only to the original owner and is not transferable.
